Dr. Michael Olsen was born in southern Alberta, but did most of his growing up in Kelowna, British Columbia. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2011 from West Virginia University, and was then accepted to the University of Missouri-Kansas City Graduate Orthodontics program. They are kept busy with their 5 children and also have active roles in their church and community. Dr. Olsen grew up playing hockey, baseball and basketball and continues to play basketball in a men's league. He also enjoys getting out for a round of golf when he gets the chance.

He enjoys seeing the changes throughout treatment and being a part of the self-improvement process. He values practicing in a setting that combines new advances in orthodontics, blended with sound fundamentals in treatment.
