5 Things to Know about Invisalign

Think clear braces sound too good to be true? Think again!

Over the past decade, advancements in orthodontic technology have soared and we are so excited to be able to provide Invisalign treatment for our patients! Invisalign, or clear braces, is a series of aligners that gradually shape your smile.

Made with the latest 3D printing technology, Invisalign is made specifically for your smile, giving you the final result you have always wanted. Despite some misconceptions, Invisalign doesn’t cost more than traditional braces.

Here are five things you need to know about Invisalign:

1. Invisalign is Clearly Different

One of the most clear advantages of Invisalign is just that: they’re clear!

Instead of the traditional look of braces – complete with brackets, wires, and bands, Invisalign is virtually invisible! The smooth plastic aligner means no poking wires, no sore lips and gums, and less discomfort when shaping your smile.

Plus, since Invisalign is clear, people will not notice the aligners at first glance. Soon enough, people will begin to see a change in your smile – but they may not ever know how you’re doing it.

2. Invisalign is Removable

Although you must be diligent in wearing your aligners for the recommended time frame, you are able to remove them. With traditional braces, there are a list of foods that are off-limits. Not with Invisalign! Simply remove your aligners and enjoy your favorite foods. Oral hygiene is is much easier to keep up with as you can remove your aligners to brush and floss as you normally would.

3. Invisalign Won’t Change Your Lifestyle

Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign has no limits. As mentioned above, Invisalign is clear and removable. These features make it easier for you to continue your normal lifestyle, without being held back. In fact, you are typically able to go longer in between your visits so that means less appointments to juggle in your busy schedule!

Also, Invisalign can be taken out for special occasions. We know that our teen and adult patients lead very busy lives, and that’s why Invisalign is so great! Invisalign can be removed for important events, meetings, sporting events, and more, keeping your lifestyle and goals unaffected by your orthodontic treatment.

4. Invisalign is Custom-Made for You

Dr. French and Dr. Olsen are experts in Invisalign, and they make customized solutions just for your smile.

Once you have a consultation with Dr. French or Dr. Olsen, they will be able to determine if Invisalign is right option for you. From there, a scan would be done and sent directly to Invisalign to start creating your personalized treatment plan. You will then come back to receive your first set of aligners and be instructed how often to change them. Super easy!

5. Invisalign is Approved by Patients Everywhere

Don’t just take it from us – take it from Invisalign patients! Invisalign receives rave reviews from teens and adults across the globe.

There are so many reasons why people choose clear, removable aligners, and their results speak for themselves. Whether you are looking to improve your smile’s appearance, increase your confidence, or invest in an important aspect of your health, Invisalign could be the right solution for you.
